CalendarSync is a private, single-user tool run by its developer for personal use. It copies events from the developer's own Outlook calendar (via a published ICS feed) into a dedicated calendar in the developer's own Google account.
The app uses the Google Calendar scope calendar.app.created, which only allows it to create and manage calendars that the app itself created, and the events in them.
Calendar data is processed on the developer's own server solely to perform the sync. It is not sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. The only stored credentials are an OAuth refresh token and client secret, kept in a permission-restricted file on that server.
Synced events remain in the Google calendar until removed by the sync or by the user. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
